Useful Information

Q: Are you a home baker?

A: I started out as a home baker but in May of 2022, I opened the doors to my first storefront! Located at 2750 Dundee Rd Unit 4, we are open Wednesdays 10-4, Thursday and Friday 10-6, and Saturdays 10-4. 

Q: Where are you located?

A: Northbrook, Il.

Q; How much does a cake cost?

A: Pricing is based upon serving size, cake and frosting flavor, and design. Prices vary greatly by each cake and each cake is individually priced. Custom Cakes start at $120. Feel free to Get A Quote for specific pricing questions. Ready-made cakes in our store range from $45-$75 typically. Call for specific pricing and availability.

Q: Do you deliver?

A: Pickup is standard as currently, delivery is only available after store hours. 

Q: Do you do Gluten Free?

A: The only Gluten Free cake I offer is chocolate on occasion. No vanilla. My frosting is gluten free. Call for availability.

Q: Do you do Dairy Free?

A: No. There is no way to substitute ingredients in my frosting to make it Dairy Free.

Q: Are you nut free?

A: There are all varieties of nuts in the facility (peanut, cashew, almond, pistachio, etc) but my cake recipes do not contain any nuts if not mentioned in the name (i.e. peanut butter and jelly). I cannot 100% guarantee a fully nut free environment. 

Q: How much notice do you need for an order?

A: It depends on what is already booked but I prefer at least a weeks notice for ready-made and semi custom styles. Custom cakes are typically booked anywhere from 3-6 weeks. Feel free to send me a message to check availability of any date. 

Q: Can I book a cake if I don't know the exact date of my event?

A: I will tentatively reserve up to 2 dates for you, if possible, for no charge. 

Q: Do you have an order minimum?

A: Custom cakes of any size start at $120. Cupcakes are sold in store and are $3.95 each. Please send me an email if you have additional questions.

Q: Do you do tastings?

A: I do not do tastings but I often carry all of my menu flavors and then some, as cupcakes in my store.

Q: Do you do sketches?

A: Sketches are only available for custom orders price over $250.

Q: Do I need to refrigerate the cake?

A: I always recommend refrigerating your cake until about 1-4 hours prior to serving. My frosting tastes best when it has been allowed to come to a little below room temperature. Refrigerating your cake until then allows you to ensure it remains structurally sound and stronger against any mishaps at the event.
